Misinterpreting Google Trends, Wednesday Edition: britain, england, britain|england, cheese

Google Trends: britain, england, britain|england, cheese

If you look at this Google Trends graph you'll see that Google Trends appears to be working. Nice. So what can we learn from this trendline, doubly-super-duply verified by our clever search terms? Well, something seems to be causing a few interesting jumps in interest in the old UK. What could it be?

Could it be...CHEESE???

You'll see a couple of the dives in popularity of Britain occurred EXACTLY the same time as a jump in cheese-searching activity! Clearly, my friends, we realize that when you're searching for cheese, the last place you think about is jolly old England, right? Am I right people?

Anyway, this is not meant to slight the many great cheeses that come from England, and I'm making an assumption there, since I really know nothing about cheese. But clearly, friends, the worlds cheesiest food group has it in for the Brits. Watch your back, mates.
